the Year of the Fire Monkey
Speaking of manifesting your best life, the Chinese calendar renewed this year on February 4, and, woo hoo! it is the Year of the Fire Monkey. The playful Monkey is an intelligent, witty, and inventive animal. His innate curiosity and creativity help us navigate stressful times with grace and ease. And who doesn’t want more grace and ease in their life, am I right? Monkey’s gift is the ability to find unconventional solutions to old problems – so this is the year for you to think BIG and go for it!
The Fire energy that is present, however, is part of a destructive cycle and can contribute to destructive patterns. Alert! Alert! The Monkey is known to be a trickster, so this is a year to be bold, yet cautious. Think about dotting your “i’s” and crossing your “t’s” before moving forward, particularly when entering into any kind of business agreement. This is an excellent year to embark on individual projects and endeavors; it is less supportive of activities that rely on the group collective.
In other words, step out into your light and be brave and bold – just be mindful of doing so with both eyes open! This happens to be my personal “Year of Yes,” so stay tuned on my website and social media to check in on my progress in this brave new world!
Listed below are just a few tips to get you started in bringing in fresh new energies for the coming Year of the Fire Monkey. I have a ton more that I would love to share, so drop me a note, give me a call – let’s set up an appointment to see how I can best support you in the areas of Feng Shui, Organization and Space Styling in order to create your Best Life Ever!
- Make a Vision Board (btw, did you know that I present workshops on this very subject?)
- Clear the clutter!! I can’t say this tip often enough. This includes your wallet, your car, and even your cell phone
- Refresh your entry to your building (home or office). Make way for the chi to freely flow into your environment – remove dead plants, bring in welcoming elements including a doormat with a positive message, decorative objet on your porch or steps, anything that will metaphorically say, “Come on in, I am happy you came!”
I have so many more ideas to share with you.
